The RETRAN computer programs were developed by EPRI to provide tools to perform licensing and best-estimate transient thermal-hydraulic analyses of light water reactors. Two versions of RETRAN are currently in use, RETRAN-02 and an improved version RETRAN-3D Both versions are maintained by the RETRAN User Group (RUG) in accordance with the quality assurance requirements of 10CFR50 Appendix B. As part of the maintenance program, trouble reports are available to RUG members.

Trouble report information is available on-line for both versions of RETRAN. They are discussed below. Access to the on-line trouble report information is available to all RETRAN users.

RETRAN-02

Two trouble report files are available, one containing the RETRAN-02 trouble reports filed since the release of MOD005.3 that reflect current activity and another containing RETRAN-02 trouble reports filed prior to the release of MOD005.3. The current report is updated quarterly and both are available in PDF format.
